Coordinate and monitor daily port and terminal operations to ensure safe, efficient, and smooth activities.. Coordinate with vessel representatives, ship agents, terminal personnel, consignees, port authorities, and other relevant stakeholders, particularly during international shipment operations.. Coordinate and monitor international vessel loading and discharging operations, ensuring that cargo handling activities are conducted safely and in accordance with approved procedures.. Work closely with vessel representatives, surveyors, shipping agents, consignees, and terminal personnel in coordinating and monitoring cargo transfer operations, including loading/discharging rates, tank switching, topping-off, valve operations, and completion of cargo transfer.. Ensure proper coordination and communication between the vessel, terminal, consignees, and shore personnel throughout cargo operations.. Monitor and verify compliance with applicable ISGOTT Ship/Shore Safety Checklist (SSSCL) requirements and terminal safety procedures.. Monitor cargo transfer activities and ensure that agreed operational parameters and safety requirements are followed.. Coordinate cargo handling procedures, communication protocols, emergency shutdown procedures, and operational limitations with consignees, vessel and terminal personnel, and other concerned parties.. Monitor terminal safety requirements, including access, mooring arrangements, spill containment, firefighting arrangements, communication systems, and emergency preparedness.. Monitor weather and environmental conditions, particularly wind speed, sea conditions, and other factors that may affect port and terminal operations.. Monitor the condition and maintenance of port facilities, infrastructure, equipment, access areas, berthing areas, mooring facilities, fenders, pipelines, cargo handling equipment, and other port assets.. Coordinate with maintenance personnel and contractors regarding preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, repairs, and other port facility requirements.. Conduct regular inspections of port facilities and report damaged, defective, or unsafe equipment and infrastructure for immediate corrective action.. Follow up on maintenance activities to ensure that repairs and corrective actions are completed properly and within the required timeframe.. Coordinate with the terminal, consignees, and relevant parties regarding changes in cargo operations, weather conditions, operational restrictions, maintenance activities, and safety concerns.. Liaise with government and port authorities and ensure compliance with port regulations, terminal procedures, company policies, ISGOTT, and applicable international maritime and safety requirements.. Assist in coordinating emergency situations, including cargo transfer stoppage, emergency shutdown, equipment failure, and other required emergency procedures.. Prepare and maintain port, terminal, maintenance, and cargo operation reports, checklists, records, and documentation.. Ensure proper documentation and coordination for international shipments, including required cargo and operational documents.. Report operational delays, incidents, safety concerns, equipment deficiencies, maintenance requirements, and other abnormal conditions to the appropriate management personnel.. Coordinate with port authorities, government agencies, contractors, service providers, and other relevant parties as required for port operations and maintenance activities.. Monitor environmental protection, pollution prevention, housekeeping, and general safety conditions within the port and terminal area.. Ensure effective coordination among the vessel, terminal, port, consignee, surveyor, shipping agent, maintenance personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout port and cargo operations.. Support the safe, efficient, and timely completion of international port, terminal, cargo, and maintenance operations.. Conduct inspections of port facilities, equipment, and operational areas, and report maintenance needs, hazards, or operational concerns.. Support the maintenance, cleanliness, and proper functioning of port facilities, equipment, and operational areas.. Coordinate with port management, vessel operators, clients, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies to ensure efficient operations.
