About the RoleZIVA is hiring on behalf of a U.S.-based client for a hands-on Business Development & Sales Process Specialist to help build and strengthen the company’s sales and lead-generation foundation.This is not a traditional sales role with an established playbook, mature pipeline, or fully defined target market. The selected professional will work directly with the founder to develop practical sales processes, validate the Ideal Customer Profile, build sales funnels, establish consistent prospecting workflows, and generate qualified opportunities.The ideal candidate is an independent builder and doer who can combine strategic thinking with execution. They should be comfortable working in an early-stage environment, managing ambiguity, identifying what needs to be created, and turning broad goals into organized and repeatable processes.The position begins part-time at approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance, revenue growth, workload, and company development.
About the CompanyOur client is an early-stage U.S.-based company providing AI-powered voice automation, sales funnel development, and process optimization solutions.The company helps businesses improve operational efficiency, customer interactions, sales processes, and customer experience through practical AI and automation solutions.Its target market is currently being refined, with an initial focus on professional and high-value service businesses such as law firms, financial and insurance services, medical spas, consulting firms, and other owner-led organizations.The company primarily seeks to connect with business owners, founders, executives, and C-suite decision-makers.
Core ResponsibilitiesSales Process and Funnel DevelopmentWork directly with the founder to define, document, and improve the company’s sales process, including SOPs, scripts, templates, qualification criteria, and follow-up workflows.Build and manage sales funnels in GoHighLevel, including landing pages, lead-capture processes, pipeline stages, nurture sequences, and CRM organization.Map the prospect journey from initial outreach through qualification, nurturing, proposal, and closing.Identify process gaps and recommend improvements based on results, market feedback, and founder priorities.
ICP and Prospecting StrategyResearch, test, and refine Ideal Customer Profiles, including target industries, decision-makers, pain points, buying signals, and operational challenges.Develop target-account criteria, buyer personas, value propositions, and outreach hypotheses.Establish a consistent LinkedIn prospecting process using Sales Navigator and other relevant tools.Research senior decision-makers, create personalized outreach, manage follow-up sequences, and generate qualified conversations.
CRM and Sales OperationsMaintain accurate prospect and pipeline information in GoHighLevel, including qualification details, notes, follow-up tasks, and next steps.Track outreach activity, prospect engagement, conversations, and qualified opportunities.Provide the founder with regular updates on results, challenges, learnings, and recommended actions.As the role evolves, the professional may also support cold email campaigns, marketing automation, lead magnets, sales materials, proposals, networking, referrals, and account expansion.
What Success Looks LikeSuccess during the initial stage will include:A practical and documented sales process.A functional sales funnel and organized CRM pipeline in GoHighLevel.Validated ICP hypotheses and clear target-account criteria.A consistent LinkedIn prospecting workflow.Relevant conversations with business owners and senior decision-makers.An organized pipeline of qualified opportunities.Accurate CRM information and proactive updates to the founder.Specific activity targets, performance indicators, and any commission structure will be established separately once the ICP and commercial strategy have been finalized.
RequirementsFluent English at a C1 or C2 level, with strong written and spoken communication.4+ years of experience in business development, sales development, outbound sales, growth, sales operations, or a related commercial role.Experience building or improving sales processes, funnels, SOPs, CRM workflows, or lead-generation systems.Strong LinkedIn prospecting skills, including research, personalized messaging, sequencing, follow-up, and outreach to business owners, founders, executives, or C-suite decision-makers.Experience using a CRM to manage prospects, pipeline stages, activities, follow-ups, and qualified opportunities.Strong business acumen, organization, ownership, initiative, and accountability.Ability to work directly with a founder in a fast-moving environment and turn broad goals into practical actions, experiments, and documented processes.Reliable availability for approximately 20 hours per week, with genuine interest in growing with the company and potentially transitioning into a full-time role.
Preferred QualificationsExperience working with early-stage companies, founders, small businesses, or owner-led organizations.Experience selling AI, automation, software, marketing, operations, consulting, or business-growth services.Experience with GoHighLevel or a similar CRM/marketing platform.Experience creating landing pages, nurture sequences, lead magnets, conversion workflows, or marketing automation.Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms, and familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, or n8n.Entrepreneurial, consulting, freelance, or business-building experience.Working StructureFully remote position supporting a U.S.-based company.Approximately 20 hours per week during the initial stage with the possibility to transition to full-time based on performance, customer acquisition, revenue, workload, and company growth.The professional must protect the agreed working schedule and treat the role as a meaningful professional commitment.Fixed salary plus a commission structure, with terms to be agreed upon directly with the client.
