Business Operations Automation Contractor

Position Summary
The Business Operations & Automation Contractor provides project-based support to improve business efficiency through process analysis, data reporting, and workflow automation. This role works on an as-needed basis to identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical automation solutions that enhance accuracy, reduce manual work, and improve overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.Develop and maintain automated workflows, reports, and data tools to support business operations.Assist with Excel-based reporting, data manipulation, and dashboard creation.Support light scripting or automation tasks using tools such as Python or similar platforms, as applicable.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional solutions.Document processes, workflows, and automation solutions for continuity and knowledge sharing.Troubleshoot and refine existing automated processes as needed.
Qualifications
Experience in business operations, data analysis, reporting, or process improvement.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, reporting, and data handling).Exposure to automation tools, scripting (e.g., Python), or workflow platforms is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage project-based assignments.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured business requirements.
Contract Terms
This is an independent contractor, as-needed position. Work will be assigned on a project basis as business needs arise. There is no guarantee of minimum hours, ongoing work, or fixed schedule. The contractor is responsible for determining the means and methods used to complete assigned deliverables while meeting agreed-upon deadlines and requirements.
