We have an exciting opening for Accounting Manager in Elyria, OH (HVS). This position is responsible for the supervision, control and analysis of the division’s accounting systems and procedures. Including, but not limited to, cost accounting and general ledger and their supporting systems. This position has direct reports and works under the direction of the division controller, supervising accounting functions to assure that all inventory costs are properly stated, according to generally accepted accounting principles. Also, this position supervises activities to ensure that the corporate accounting policies and procedures are adhered to, according to generally accepted accounting principles.
Your Main ResponsibilitiesEnsure inventory is properly costed and analyzedPrepare monthly LIFO indexSet annual standard costs and departmental budgetsMaintain general ledgerMaintain property systems recordsProvide account reconciliation and business analysis as requiredPrepare monthly reports and analysis for the division and corporateEnsure all cost and other accounting systems meet corporate guidelinesMaintain highest degree of customer service, throughput, quality, cost reduction and people productivity
We Are Looking For Talent WithBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance7-10 years experience in Parker related discipline5 years supervisory experience preferred
