OverviewOne of the largest and most respected general contractors in the United States — with a dominant presence in hyperscale and mission-critical data center construction — is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead field operations across their growing data center portfolio.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead all field operations on hyperscale and mission-critical data center projects from groundbreaking through substantial completionDirect and coordinate multiple superintendent teams, self-perform crews, and subcontractors simultaneouslyDevelop and maintain master look-ahead schedules, drive critical-path activities, chair daily coordination and OAC meetings, and proactively resolve sequencing conflicts before they impact deliveryEnforce site safety protocols, lead toolbox talks, and maintain full OSHA complianceCoordinate with MEP subcontractors, commissioning agents, and equipment vendors on startup and energization; oversee RFI management, change order documentation, and project reporting in coordination with the PM teamMentor and develop Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents across the project team while serving as the primary field-level point of contact for the owner's construction management team
RequirementsMinimum 12–15 years of field leadership experience — data center experience is mandatory, hyperscale campus experience strongly preferredProven ability to lead large, complex project sites with multiple concurrent superintendent teams and 200+ personnel, managing aggressive schedules and delivering fast-track projects on time and to budgetStrong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and data center construction sequencing from civil through energization, with experience managing multiple subcontractors simultaneouslySolid working knowledge of OSHA regulations and site safety leadershipWillingness to travel full-time to project sites nationwide with an agreed rotation home schedule
