Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to manage a high-volume caseload from inception through trial. This role is ideal for a motivated litigator who is confident in handling all aspects of personal injury litigation.

Key Responsibilities

Manage caseload of plaintiff’s personal injury matters from pre-litigation through trial Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery Propound and respond to written discovery Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and trials Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense counsel Develop case strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and settlement value Ensure compliance with Texas procedural rules and court deadlines Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and support staff Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the litigation process Conduct legal research and draft high-quality legal documents

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in the State of Texas 5+ years of high-volume plaintiff’s personal injury litigation experience Proven trial experience required Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure Experience drafting and arguing motions and handling depositions independently Demonstrated ability to manage a large caseload effectively Strong leadership and team management skills Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical abilities Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Commitment to providing outstanding client service Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
