2D Layout Engineer

Tasks

• Design and optimize factory layouts, production lines, warehouses, and material flow.
• Develop site master plans for capacity expansion and future growth.
• Create and maintain detailed 2D/3D layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Optimize inbound/outbound logistics, dock utilization, yard flow, and space utilization.
• Integrate PFEP (Plan for Every Part) and material handling systems into factory layouts.
• Support manufacturing capacity planning, OEE analysis, line balancing, and throughput optimization.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Facilities, Construction, and EHS teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of factory/site layout planning or industrial engineering experience.
• Experience in large-scale manufacturing environments, preferably automotive, battery, energy, or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of factory layout design, material flow, and facility planning.
• Preferred: AutoCAD / Revit / 2D & 3D Layout Design
• Preferred: Greenfield Factory Planning & Site Master Planning
• Preferred: PFEP, Warehouse Design & Material Handling
• Preferred: AGVs, AMRs, Conveyors & Internal Logistics
• Preferred: FlexSim / Manufacturing Simulation
• Preferred: OEE, Takt Time, Cycle Time & Line Balancing
