Job Description OTE: $145,000 - $165,000 per year Location: Kansas City, MO · Hybrid Position Overview We're hiring for one of our clients. A leading physical security integration company is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business through outbound prospecting and full-cycle sales execution. This company delivers modern, cloud-first security solutions across commercial environments, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and life safety solutions. This is a true hunter role focused heavily on building a pipeline from scratch and closing new business. The ideal candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy, owning their territory and playing a key role in scaling a developing go-to-market function. Key Responsibilities Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through deal close; Generate and manage a predominantly self-sourced sales pipeline; Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities across target verticals; Conduct discovery sessions and position tailored physical security solutions to meet client needs; Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners; Collaborate with sales engineering teams to develop compelling proposals; Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking within CRM (HubSpot); Consistently meet or exceed revenue and activity targets; Contribute to improving sales processes, discipline, and execution. Ideal Candidate Profile 2–5 years of B2B sales experience; Proven ability to prospect and generate pipeline independently; Experience in physical security, cybersecurity, AV, low-voltage, guard services, or related technical solution-selling environments preferred; Track record of managing full-cycle sales processes; Strong communication, active listening, and consultative selling skills; High level of discipline, consistency, and self-motivation; Comfortable working in a hybrid environment based in Kansas City, MO.
