About the role
The Account Manager serves as the primary bridge between Bland Landscaping Company and its clients. The role combines proactive site management to ensure existing maintenance contracts are executed as specified with strategic growth through property enhancements that increase the value and beauty of clients’ landscapes.
The ideal candidate is a disciplined self-starter who thrives on autonomy in the field and has the high emotional intelligence to work with different client personalities, from volunteer HOA boards to commercial asset managers.
Responsibilities
- Act as the lead consultant for a dedicated book of business and foster long-term client relationships through consistent, high-touch communication.
- Perform regular, documented site walks and audits to ensure maintenance standards meet or exceed contract specifications.
- Adapt communication to client needs, including formal presentations for HOA boards, ROI-focused reports for commercial property managers, and technical data for high-touch buyers.
- Identify and resolve client concerns proactively to maintain a high retention rate across the portfolio.
- Identify opportunities for site improvements, such as drainage solutions, seasonal color, turf renovation, or plant transitions.
- Use the BOSS quoting system to generate professional, accurate, and timely proposals.
