Accountancy Faculty

About the role

NU Cebu is looking for a full-time accountancy faculty member to teach accounting-related subjects.

Responsibilities

• Teach accounting, taxation, auditing, and related management accounting subjects.
• Prepare lessons, instructional materials, and assessments.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance.
• Apply relevant industry practices and accounting technologies in teaching.
• Maintain accurate academic records and handle student information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a valid PRC ID/license and BOA accreditation.
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from a college or university duly recognized by CHED.
• At least 1-2 years of teaching experience, preferably handling accounting-related subjects.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, auditing, and management accounting.
• Excellent communication, presentation, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical skills in accounting software, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and digital learning platforms.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple academic responsibilities.
• Demonstrates confidentiality, professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment in handling student and institutional information.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail.
• Committed to professional excellence and student development.
