Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including journals, ledgers, and financial statements to ensure data integrity. Assist in audit preparation and execution by coordinating with external auditors and gathering essential documentation, improving audit efficiency by 15%. Support month-end and year-end closing processes to guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting aligned with UAE regulatory standards. Review and reconcile accounts regularly to validate consistency and accuracy, reducing discrepancies by up to 10%. Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax laws and deadlines, minimizing risk of penalties. Contribute to internal financial analyses and budgeting activities, providing actionable insights to management for strategic decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes, enhancing operational efficiency. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or auditing within corporate environments. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards relevant to the UAE market. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or similar platforms. Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred: Part-qualified CA Inter or ACCA certification is a significant advantage. Experience working with external auditors and tax authorities in the UAE.
