Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Advisory Consultant to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This full-time position offers a competitive annual compensation of $120,000. The role involves providing high-level advisory services to clients and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP standards. As a vital part of our team, the Accounting Advisory Consultant will play an essential role in delivering accurate financial reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures that align with U.S. GAAP.
- Provide expert financial reporting analysis to support client decision-making.
- Conduct comprehensive audits and reviews of financial statements.
- Assist clients in identifying areas for process improvements in their accounting practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end accounting solutions.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry standards impacting financial reporting.
- Deliver training and support to clients on best practices in accounting and finance.
Required and preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in an accounting or advisory role.
The technical environment involves using common accounting software and financial tools. The team structure consists of experienced professionals who foster knowledge sharing and collaboration. You will report directly to senior management, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Cross-functional collaboration is key, as you will engage with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and support client needs.
