Accounting Advisory Consultant in Chicago, IL

Seigfried group is hiring a full-time Accounting Advisory Consultant in Chicago, Illinois. This on-site role offers annual compensation of $120,000 and focuses on client advisory, financial reporting, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Required: Active CPA and Big 4 audit experience. Candidates without both qualifications should not apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures aligned with U.S. GAAP.
• Analyze financial reporting and provide insights that support client decision-making.
• Conduct comprehensive audits and reviews of financial statements.
• Identify opportunities to improve clients’ accounting processes and practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end accounting solutions.
• Monitor changes in regulations and industry standards that affect financial reporting.
• Train and support clients on accounting and finance best practices.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.
• Big 4 audit background.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and proven financial reporting expertise.
• Three to five years of relevant accounting or advisory experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
