Job description
Fundacion Cagna is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst for a full-time, on-site position in Caracas, Distrito Federal, Venezuela. The Accounting Analyst will help maintain accurate financial records and support financial management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support business decisions.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist with monthly and annual financial statements.
- Help ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Coordinate with other departments to collect financial information.
- Participate in audits and help implement improvement recommendations.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- Two to three years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Team and Reporting Structure
This role reports to the Financial Manager and works closely with fellow accountants and teams across the organization to support consistent financial reporting and analysis.
