VACANCY—ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE

Laparkan Trading Limited – Guyana
Location: Georgetown, Guyana

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• CXC including Math, English (and Principles of Accounts)
• CAT Level 1 or higher (or currently pursuing ACCA/CAT)
• 2–4 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
• High level of accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
• Prepare and post invoices, receipts, journal entries and other accounting records.
• Reconcile customer, vendor, bank and general ledger accounts.
• Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections.
• Assist with month-end closings, financial reports and account reconciliations.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
