Responsibilities Of The Accounting Manager

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and supervise two team membersManage the general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliations, and inventory accountingPrepare year-end schedules and support the external audit processServe as a key partner to the CFO on accounting and financial mattersIdentify and implement process improvements and efficienciesAssist with hiring and developing accounting staff

Qualifications Of The Accounting Manager

Bachelor's degree in Accounting5+ years of accounting experienceExperience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, and reconciliationsDistribution or manufacturing experience preferredStrong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPsProcess improvement mindset with strong communication skillsPrior supervisory experience is a plus, but not required
