Accounting Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead regional accounting operations and multi-country teams.Ensure accurate, timely period-end closings that meet high quality standards.Standardize, optimize, and automate regional accounting processes.Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and internal control standards.Drive continuous improvement through KPIs, audits, and transformation projects.Act as a strategic business partner: provide accounting and financial support across business areas, enabling sound decision-making through reliable, timely financial information.Lead transformation projects.Manage audits: coordinate internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely delivery of information and follow-up on action plans.
WORK EXPERIENCEMinimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, with at least 3 to 5 years in managerial roles leading teams.Experience managing multi-country accounting operations, preferably within multinational companies or Shared Services Centers (SSC).Solid knowledge of Record to Report (R2R) processes, including period-end close, reconciliations, fixed assets, provisions, general ledger, and intercompany accounting.Experience standardizing, documenting, and continuously improving accounting processes at a regional level.Experience leading financial transformation projects, ERP implementation, or migration (Oracle).Experience implementing and monitoring KPIs, SLAs, and internal controls to ensure operational efficiency and quality.Knowledge and application of IFRS, corporate policies, and internal/external audit requirements.Experience coordinating multicultural and remote teams, fostering talent development and change management.Experience working with business, audit, tax, treasury, and technology teams to ensure proper execution of financial processes.Experience managing centralization, regionalization, or Shared Services Center creation processes will be considered an advantage.Demonstrated ability to lead automation, digitalization, and process optimization initiatives through technology tools.
