We're looking for a skilled Accounts Manager based in Malé to lead our accounting and compliance functions. Key Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash flow management to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Manage banking relationships, multi-currency accounts, and perform monthly reconciliations to maintain financial integrity. Ensure compliance with Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) tax regulations and statutory filings, minimizing risk and penalties. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning processes to support strategic financial decision-making. Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights. Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and compliance with IFRS standards. Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies to enhance operational efficiency and safeguard company assets. Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, fostering professional development and team performance. What We're Looking For Required: Professional qualification such as CFA, CA, CPA, ACCA, or a Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting. Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with managerial exposure preferred. Strong knowledge of IFRS, audits, and statutory compliance within the Maldives or similar regulatory environments. Mandatory hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting software. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred: Experience in the FMCG, trading, or retail industries. Familiarity with multi-currency accounting and international financial regulations. Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting and forecasting in a fast-paced environment.
