ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Adobe AEM Developer with strong Java, OSGi, and Apache Felix expertise to develop scalable content management solutions, reusable AEM components, workflows, and integrations. The ideal candidate will focus on application performance, maintainable architecture, and reliable content delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop AEM components, dialogs, templates, services, and workflows using Java.
Build and maintain OSGi bundles and Apache Felix configurations.
Implement Sling Models, servlets, filters, and event-driven services.
Design JCR repository structures and content models following AEM best practices.
Integrate AEM with external systems through APIs and secure communication.
Optimize repository access, component performance, and caching.
Troubleshoot application defects and resolve root causes.
Support Maven-based builds, packaging, deployments, and releases.
Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
9+ years of professional experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
Experience with OSGi services, bundles, and Apache Felix.
Strong understanding of Apache Sling, Sling Models, and servlets.
Experience with JCR, AEM components, dialogs, and templates.
Knowledge of HTL/Sightly and AEM rendering.
Experience integrating AEM with REST APIs or external systems.
Familiarity with Maven, source control, and application debugging.
