Job description
About the role
Brickskidz is looking for 2 casual after school care and school holiday programme staff. Monday–Friday, 2:45pm–6:00pm. Hours are split between the two roles by days of the week, not split shifts; each staff member covers full sessions on their assigned days. Pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children in a safe, friendly environment after school.
- Lead games, activities, and homework support.
- Prepare food and snacks for the children.
- Get involved in active play, including tag, sports, and games in the yard.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, paid or volunteer.
- Current NZ Police vet, or willingness to obtain one.
- First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
- Reasonably fit and active; you'll be on your feet and playing sport with the kids.
- Reliable, warm, and patient.
