Job description
About the role
Milnerton Primary School is looking for enthusiastic, caring, and responsible aftercare staff to help create a safe, happy, nurturing, and positive environment for learners after the school day.
The hours are 13:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 13:00 to 16:00 on Friday.
Responsibilities
- Assist learners with homework and daily routines.
- Organize and participate in games, activities, and creative play.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Communicate positively and professionally with learners, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements
- Genuine love and interest in working with children.
- Responsibility, reliability, and trustworthiness.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- A clear criminal record.
- Previous experience working with children is an advantage.
- A relevant childcare, teaching, or first-aid qualification is advantageous.
