Agricultural Land Preparation and Site Development Worker

Tasks

• Seasonal land preparation work on property being converted to cattle grazing use.
• Perform post-logging cleanup and site restoration, including windrowing and removal of debris, mulching, raking and controlled burning of approved material, and removal or leveling of stumps.
• Repair and grade access roads and skid trails, address rutting and erosion areas, compact and smooth soil, and prepare fields for pasture establishment through mowing, herbicide application, prescribed burning, and disking and harrowing.
• Install agricultural infrastructure such as perimeter fencing, cross fencing for rotational grazing systems, and gates.
• Daily duties may vary depending on weather and field conditions.

Pay

• $12.57 per hour
• The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay
