Role: AI Architect
Location: Washington, DC Area – Hybrid
We’re looking for an experienced AI Architect to design and build AI-native systems for fintech, crypto, and consumer-facing products. The ideal candidate will have strong architecture expertise, hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, embeddings, production AI systems, and a polyglot engineering background.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design end-to-end AI architectures for crypto, fintech, and B2C products
• Build AI-native systems using LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, embeddings, and production model integrations
• Select the right AI models, databases, data stores, and integration patterns for each use case
• Design scalable, secure, low-latency, high-volume consumer applications
• Build and review Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and drive solutions into production
• Guide engineering teams on AI architecture, security, compliance, and best practices
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architectures
• Design solutions across relational, NoSQL, vector, caching, ledger, and time-series databases
Required Qualifications:
• Recent hands-on experience in Crypto, FinTech, and B2C applications
• Strong experience designing AI-native systems with LLMs, RAG, Agents, embeddings, and production AI/ML integrations
• Strong programming experience in multiple languages such as Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Go, Java, or Rust
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Redis, and vector databases such as Pinecone, pgvector, or Weaviate
• Strong understanding of scalable, secure, low-latency architectures
• Experience taking AI solutions from PoC to production
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Blockchain, crypto wallets, payments, or KYC/AML systems
• Experience with AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or Google Cloud Vertex AI
• Experience working in regulated environments with SOC 2, PCI-DSS, security, and compl
