Remotes is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated AI-Assisted Document Translator to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa on a part-time basis. In this role, you will leverage cutting-edge AI translation technology to translate documents accurately and efficiently, enhancing communication across multiple languages and improving client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Utilize AI translation software to translate documents while preserving accuracy and context. Review and edit translations for clarity, grammar, and language nuances. Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. Collaborate with team members to clarify requirements and optimize translation processes. Continuously learn new translation tools and techniques to improve efficiency. Maintain translation memory databases and glossaries to ensure consistency. Provide feedback on AI software performance to support system improvements. Required and Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail for accurate translation and editing. Basic computer skills; familiarity with AI-assisted translation tools preferred. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects. Bilingual proficiency in English and at least one additional language. Experience in document translation or editing is a plus. This part-time position offers remote work eligibility and reports to a Translation Manager within a collaborative team environment.
