We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Aircraft Cleaner to join our team at OR Tambo Airport in Kempton Park, Gauteng, South Africa. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors, including upholstery, carpets, and cabin areas. Perform cleaning of aircraft exteriors, ensuring that all surfaces are spotless and free from debris. Inspect and replenish necessary supplies, such as towels, toiletries, and safety cards in the aircraft. Work closely with ground crew and other airport personnel to prepare aircraft for departure. Adhere to safety standards and regulations while performing cleaning tasks in compliance with company policies. Report any damages or issues found during cleaning to the appropriate personnel. Utilize designated cleaning tools and materials efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize costs. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet airport operational needs. Previous experience in a cleaning or custodial role is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies used in aircraft maintenance is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Physical stamina to manage the demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
