Job description
About the role
Battlefords Tribal Council Justice is seeking a motivated, compassionate and dependable Alternative Measures Worker to support youth and adults through community-based justice programming.
The successful candidate will promote accountability, restorative justice and meaningful participation by individuals, victims and communities.
Tasks
- Coordinate and deliver Alternative Measures programming for youth and adults at the community level.
- Conduct screening, intake and assessments to identify participant needs and suitability for programming.
- Facilitate victimoffender mediation and restorative justice processes, where appropriate.
- Work with participants to develop and complete meaningful agreements that support accountability and address harm.
- Refer participants to appropriate agencies, programs and support services, and follow up on referrals.
