Job description
We are seeking an experienced Android Framework Developer for a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In this position, you will help develop and optimize Android features using Android Open Source Project (AOSP) components and contribute to software that shapes mobile product experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Android Framework features using AOSP components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues, implementing timely fixes and improvements.
- Document designs, code changes, and project workflows clearly.
- Support engineering best practices and coding standards.
- Review code and mentor junior developers.
- Stay current with Android development and mobile technology advancements.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- B.E., B.Tech, or M.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics and Communications, with a minimum CGPA of 7.5.
- Strong proficiency in C++.
- Extensive experience with Android Framework and AOSP.
- Familiarity with the Android SDK and development tools such as Android Studio.
- At least two years of experience in Android development or a related field.
- Android development certifications are a plus.
