Job description

Job Title: AP Specialist II Department: Finance Location: C. Montes Urales 424, Lomas - Virreyes, Lomas de Chapultepec V Secc., Miguel Hidalgo, 11000 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico. Reports To: Financial Analyst Primary Purpose: The AP Specialist II is responsible for accurately processing accounts payable invoices following approved procedures while maintaining strong vendor and supplier relationships. This role includes managing dropship processing, fixed assets, and technology accounting tasks. The AP Specialist II identifies missing invoices, resolves discrepancies, compiles month-end accruals and reconciliations, and supports the Finance team’s overall success. Key Responsibilities: Process and monitor accounts payable invoices in compliance with company policies and standards. Track dropship orders and proactively follow up with vendors for missing invoices. Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure proper accounting treatment of technology-related expenses. Research and resolve overdue payments and discrepancies with suppliers. Generate and analyze "Received Not Invoiced" reports to identify and address missing invoices. Assist with month-end close activities by tracking warehouse and dropship accruals. Manage fixed assets including tracking, creation, depreciation, and reporting of CapEx expenditures. Maintain effective working relationships with Supply Chain, Product Managers, Credit/Collections, and Customer Solutions teams. Support continuous improvement initiatives in accounting and finance processes. Perform additional related duties as assigned by management. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution required; Accounting or Finance preferred. Prior experience in Accounts Payable or Finance operations is preferred.
