Reports To: Financial Analyst
Primary Purpose:
The AP Specialist II is responsible for processing accounts payable invoices according to approved company processes while maintaining strong vendor and supplier relationships. This role includes managing dropship invoice processing, fixed assets accounting, and technology-related accounting tasks. The specialist identifies missing invoices, resolves discrepancies with vendors, compiles month-end accruals and reconciliations, and supports the Finance team’s operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and monitor accounts payable invoices ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
- Track dropship orders and proactively follow up with vendors to obtain missing invoices.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to determine appropriate accounting treatment for technology expenses.
- Research and resolve overdue payments and discrepancies with suppliers.
- Generate and analyze "Received Not Invoiced" reports to identify and address missing invoices.
- Assist with month-end closing activities by tracking warehouse and dropship accruals.
- Manage fixed assets including tracking, creation, depreciation, and reporting of capital expenditures.
- Maintain effective working relationships with Supply Chain, Product Managers, Credit/Collections, and Customer Solutions teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within accounting processes.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned by management.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution required; Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Prior experience in Accounts Payable or Finance operations is preferred.

Salary: 25,000 MXN per month
