Appian Technical Lead

About the role

Canada Life is seeking an experienced Appian Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade Appian solutions.

The role focuses on digital transformation, platform modernization, and integration with enterprise systems such as OnBase.

Tasks

• Define Appian architecture standards, design patterns, and development best practices.
• Lead the design and development of scalable Appian applications and workflows.
• Guide development teams on implementation, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Design and implement integrations with OnBase, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Ensure application security, data integrity, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Establish development governance, CI/CD practices, and deployment standards.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and product teams.
• Review and approve solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Lead troubleshooting, performance optimization, and complex issue resolution.
• Promote reusable components and Appian platform best practices.

Requirements

• 6–8 Years
• Strong hands-on experience with Appian BPM and low-code application development.
• Experience in Appian solution architecture and technical leadership.
• Expertise in enterprise integrations, REST APIs, and database connectivity.
• Knowledge of application security, CI/CD, and deployment governance.
• Experience with OnBase integration is an advantage.

Schedule

• Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
