Job description
Intugo is hiring an Accounts Receivable & Month-End Bookkeeping Specialist in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. This full-time, on-site role supports the finance team of a California-based electrical engineering and construction firm established in 2008. The company serves commercial clients, federal agencies, and military installations across California and the United States.
About the role
You will manage customer invoicing, collections, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. Working with the owner, project managers, and external accounting partners, you’ll help maintain accurate books and clear cash flow visibility.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit customer invoices according to project milestones and billing schedules.
- Track accounts receivable, send payment reminders, and make collection calls.
- Prepare lien releases and ensure required payment-processing documentation is complete.
- Enter and monitor change orders to support accurate billing.
- Assist with accounts payable check runs and coordinate with vendors.
- Monitor and forecast weekly and monthly cash flow.
- Enter and reconcile budget data.
- Maintain organized records of billing and collection activities.
- Reconcile bank and cash accounts against bank statements.
- Record month-end adjusting journal entries for accruals, deferrals, prepaids, and depreciation.
Location and work arrangement
This position is based on-site in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. It is not remote-eligible.
Compensation
Pay: 30000 per month.
