Job description
Lead creative and production projects as an Artistic / Creative Director in Moorestown, New Jersey. This full-time, on-site role is suited to an experienced creative professional with an eye for art and a strong understanding of business, project management, and product development.
About the role
Nelson Line, an established gift and stationery company, is seeking a team leader to develop fresh product ideas and guide them from concept through production. You will manage the art and production team, coordinate multiple projects, and keep schedules, colleagues, and deliverables on track.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts for new products and designs.
- Source artwork and illustration, and manage licensing.
- Lead weekly meetings, assign work, and review team tasks.
- Oversee production projects, timelines, costs, budgets, and content.
- Coordinate web design, publicity, and sales materials.
- Manage the art and production team and maintain project schedules.
- Correspond with key customers and occasionally meet with them to present collections and discuss new projects.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience, preferably in stationery, gifts, design, or publishing.
- Experience managing production projects; domestic and/or overseas manufacturing experience is desirable.
- Strong organizational, project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and similar software.
- Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign.
- Must have a vehicle, as public transportation is not available to the worksite.
- Must live within 30 miles of Moorestown, New Jersey.
