Job description
Position: Artistic / Creative Director
Location: Moorestown-Lenola, New Jersey, United States
Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year (DOE)
About the Role:
Nelson Line, a well-established gift and stationery company, is seeking an experienced Artistic / Creative Director with a strong artistic vision and business acumen. This full-time, on-site role requires a dynamic leader who can generate innovative ideas and successfully manage multiple projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and foster creative ideas for new products and designs
- Source art and illustrations, and manage licensing agreements
- Lead weekly meetings, assign tasks, and review progress
- Oversee production projects including costing, budgeting, content creation, web design, publicity, and sales materials
- Manage the art and production teams effectively
- Engage with key customers to present collections and discuss new projects
Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven experience managing production projects in the Gift, Stationery, Design, or Publishing industries
- Knowledge of domestic and/or overseas manufacturing processes
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop & InDesign)
- Ability to lead teams and meet deadlines consistently
