Job description
We are seeking an Employment and Business Civil Law Advisor to join a collaborative legal team in Piura, Peru. This full-time, on-site role provides legal counsel to business clients and helps them meet legal requirements and manage employment and civil disputes. The position reports to the Legal Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on employment law and civil law matters.
- Draft and review contracts, legal claims, agreements, and other documents.
- Help resolve employment and civil disputes through mediation and negotiation.
- Analyze legal cases and recommend practical solutions.
- Monitor changes to employment and civil legislation that may affect clients.
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal guidance.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver coordinated legal support.
Qualifications
- Law degree from a recognized university.
- At least three years of experience in employment and civil law.
- Strong legal analysis and writing skills.
- Effective communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Mediation or dispute-resolution certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with legal software and document-management tools.
