Assistant Yard Manager

Help supervise and coordinate a team of approximately 5–7 drivers and yard employees. Maintain clear communication with management, dispatch, drivers, sales staff, and administration. Follow established procedures and chain of communication. Address problems as they happen and promptly bring important issues to management. Help verify driver activity, vehicle locations, pickups, drop-offs, and yard concerns when needed. Assist with customer vehicle sales, paperwork, payments, titles, and general yard transactions. Help maintain organization, accountability, and professionalism throughout the yard. Be comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Follow through on assigned tasks without needing constant reminders. Remain professional when dealing with difficult customers or employee issues. Be willing to step in wherever needed to support daily operations. Not be afraid to get dirty or work hands-on in the yard when necessary.
