About the role
Confidential is seeking an assistant yard manager to help coordinate daily yard operations and support the team.
Responsibilities
- Help supervise and coordinate approximately 5–7 drivers and yard employees.
- Communicate with management, dispatch, drivers, sales staff, and administration, following established procedures and the chain of communication.
- Address problems as they happen and promptly bring important issues to management.
- Help verify driver activity, vehicle locations, pickups, drop-offs, and yard concerns when needed.
- Assist with customer vehicle sales, paperwork, payments, titles, and general yard transactions.
- Help maintain organization, accountability, and professionalism throughout the yard.
- Follow through on assigned tasks and step in wherever needed to support daily operations, including hands-on work in the yard.
