We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, supervise audit teams, ensure the delivery of high-quality work, and provide exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting expertise, proven project management skills, and extensive experience conducting government audits within a public accounting environment.
Responsibilities:Manage and oversee audit engagements from planning through completion.Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to audit team members.Perform technical reviews of audit workpapers and financial statements.Ensure compliance with applicable auditing standards, regulations, and professional requirements.Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor by delivering exceptional customer service.Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and firm leadership through clear verbal and written communication.Identify audit findings, provide recommendations, and support the resolution process.Assist in developing audit staff through coaching and mentorship.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance audit quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.Minimum of 7 years of public accounting experience.Minimum of 2 years of experience performing government audits.Previous experience supervising and leading audit teams.Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication abilities.Ability to manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines.
