Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated Not-for-Profit Audit Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in auditing not-for-profit organizations who thrives in a leadership position. The Audit Manager will oversee engagements, mentor staff, and ensure the highest level of service for our not-for-profit clients.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage audits for not-for-profit organizations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Oversee and review audit engagements, ensuring quality and efficiency.Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing expert financial insights.Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff, providing guidance and training.Stay current on industry trends, tax laws, and regulatory changes affecting not-for-profit organizations.Collaborate with firm leadership to enhance audit processes and client service strategies.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting. 4+ years of recent public accounting experience, with a focus on not-for-profit auditing.Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and Uniform Guidance for not-for-profit entities.Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines efficiently.Experience with audit software and financial reporting tools preferred.
