Auditor (Non-IT) III – Operational Risk/Control Testing

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in Internal Audit, Operational Risk, Compliance, or Business Controls.
• Mandatory experience working within a financial institution (Banking, Financial Services, or Securities).
• Hands-on experience performing control testing or reviewing control testing within a financial institution.
• Experience assessing control design, documentation, sampling, supporting evidence, and testing conclusions.
• Ability to independently review and challenge first-line control testing activities.
• Experience identifying control weaknesses, reviewing remediation plans, and validating closure evidence.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment, control effectiveness, and audit methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Second Line of Defence (2LOD) or Operational Risk experience (Nice to Have).
• Wholesale Banking, Capital Markets, Securities, or Asset Management experience (Nice to Have).
• Big Four financial services audit or risk advisory experience (Nice to Have).
• CPA, CIA, CISA, or other relevant audit/risk certifications (Nice to Have).
• Candidates must have financial institution experience with direct control testing or control testing review exposure.
• General AML, credit risk, or IT support experience without control testing will not be sufficient.

Schedule

• Hybrid – 4 days on-site and 1 day remote
• 6 Months – Extension / Conversion Possible

Pay

• $43–$50/hr T4 or $54–$61/hr INC
