About the role
BW Design Group is expanding its team to support the long-term deployment of large-scale, mission-critical data center infrastructure. The Automation and Control System Commissioning Manager leads onsite commissioning for BMS and EPMS control systems and coordinates design, integration, and field execution teams.
The role requires relocation or heavy travel to the client site. The majority of sites are in TX, MO and AZ.
Responsibilities
- Oversee activities related to DG-scoped BMS/EPMS onsite checkout and commissioning execution.
- Work with the Commissioning Lead to manage onsite commissioning personnel and associated workflow.
- Provide leadership for onsite controls commissioning and work with commissioning leads to establish technical direction, execution priorities, staffing plans, and issue resolution strategies.
- Monitor construction and commissioning status.
- Serve as the main point of contact to the general contractor and client to communicate commissioning status.
