Automation Test Lead

About the role

Lead a multi-project testing team responsible for functional testing, test automation, data validation, quality metrics, SLA management, and client governance.

Tasks

• Lead automation strategy and continuous testing across multiple projects.
• Own test planning, test case design, test data management, defect tracking, and regression testing.
• Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, Selenium, and/or Tricentis Tosca.
• Perform performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter.
• Validate REST/SOAP APIs and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies, and pull request workflows.
• Work with AWS-hosted test environments and services such as S3, EC2, and Lambda.
• Write SQL queries to validate Snowflake data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Validate ETL/ELT pipelines and reconcile source data with downstream data warehouses.
• Verify Power BI reports and dashboards against underlying Snowflake data.
• Lead quality reviews, manage SLAs, monitor testing metrics, and coordinate client governance.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading automation and functional testing teams.
• Strong hands-on expertise in test strategy, automation frameworks, and data validation.
• Experience managing multiple projects.
• Experience in energy, sustainability, trading, or emissions-related workflows.
• Test Automation: Playwright, Selenium, Tricentis Tosca
• Performance Testing: JMeter
• API Testing: REST and SOAP
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• Data Validation: SQL, Snowflake, ETL/ELT
