Join the Mavis Tires & Brakes team as a full-time Automotive Assistant Manager or Service Manager near Willingboro, New Jersey. Mavis operates more than 2,000 retail locations and provides tire sales and automotive repair services.

Automotive Assistant Manager Responsibilities

• Help manage the efficient operation of the automotive repair shop.
• Schedule mechanic and technician work, order parts, and help ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to customers’ expectations.
• Maintain shop safety and housekeeping standards.
• Use knowledge of under-car repairs, wheel alignments, tires, and exhaust systems.
• Communicate safety and mechanical issues to the store manager for discussion with customers.
• Apply basic math, computer, supervisory, and leadership skills.

Service Manager Responsibilities

• Help customers select tires and identify needed under-car repair services.
• Use sales experience and upselling techniques to recommend relevant products and services.
• Provide personable, outgoing customer service and contribute to sales success.
• Bring knowledge of automotive repairs and the automotive industry; this experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• For Assistant Manager roles, knowledge of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems is required.
• Basic math and computer skills and supervisory or leadership ability are needed for the Assistant Manager position.
• Prior sales experience involving products or services and upselling is needed for the Service Manager position.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach are important.
