About the Role
We seek a detail-oriented candidate with upholstery experience who can deliver high-quality, precise workmanship. You will work with limited supervision, contributing to projects that preserve and enhance the value of premium automobiles for generations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of interior and upholstery restoration, replacement, and repair including floors, roofs, seats, trim, and lining.
- Execute highly customized installations and precision vintage restorations.
- Install convertible soft tops with accuracy.
- Work with a variety of premium upholstery materials such as leathers, fabrics, carpets, padding, and threads.
- Operate sewing machines and apply diverse upholstery techniques.
- Complete hand-crafted upholstery tasks and use tools including drills effectively.
Qualifications
- Formal education or training in upholstery work, preferably automotive upholstery.
- Strong knowledge of materials and their suitability for specific applications.
- Experience with upholstery machinery and equipment.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently.
