However, after successfully completing training, eligible Auxiliary Police members may receive a stipend for uniforms and associated equipment maintenance. Initial stipend maximum: 250 dollars. Additional stipends depend on participation, duties performed, and other applicable conditions. Workers’ Compensation may apply during authorized duty conditions. Auxiliary Police members do not receive regular NYPD pension and other employment benefits.
