AWS Databricks Architect

Requirements

• Experienced AWS Databricks Architect with strong expertise in enterprise Databricks architecture, AWS cloud platforms, Lakehouse implementation, and large-scale data migration.
• Hands-on experience leading enterprise Databricks implementations and migrating AWS Glue and Aurora PostgreSQL workloads to the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
• Led multiple Databricks implementations on AWS.
• Experience with large-scale, regulated enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise managing multiple Databricks workspaces.
• Enterprise platform architecture, governance, security, and workspace standards.
• Strong expertise in Unity Catalog and Delta Lake.
• Experience building reusable platform accelerators, reference architectures, and engineering guardrails.
• AWS Glue to Databricks migration.
• Aurora PostgreSQL to Databricks migration.
• AWS Data Lake to Databricks Lakehouse migration.
• ETL modernization and pipeline transformation.
• Databricks Workflows.
• Apache Spark, PySpark, and Declarative Pipelines.
• Delta Lake and SQL Warehouses.
• CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• AWS S3, IAM, networking, and security.
• Preferred: RBAC/ABAC implementation and enterprise data governance.
• Preferred: Experience in regulated industries such as Pharma, Biotech, Healthcare, or Life Sciences.
• Preferred: Knowledge of GxP and validated systems.
• Preferred: Audit, privacy, security, and compliance experience.
• Nice to have: Veeva Vault: Safety, RIM, Clinical, QMS, and QualityDocs.
• Nice to have: CDC architectures.
