About the role

Building scalable data pipelines, optimizing datasets, and delivering reliable data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.

Requirements

• Azure Data Factory (ADF) – Pipelines, Data Flows, Triggers & ELT/ETL
• Azure Blob Storage – Containers, Lifecycle Policies & Managed Identities
• Azure SQL – Schema Design, Indexing & Performance Tuning
• Strong SQL and Python scripting skills
• Data Modeling – Star/Snowflake Schema, 3NF & Data Vault 2.0
• Data Formats – JSON, Parquet, CSV & Avro
• Git, Azure DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines
• Production Monitoring, Logging & Troubleshooting
• Nice to Have: Azure Synapse Analytics; Microsoft Fabric & Power BI; Azure Event Hubs, Functions & Databricks; Terraform/Bicep and Microsoft Purview
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance requiring U.S.citizenship
• Must be available to work onsite in Washington, DC, 3 days per week
