Job description
Role: Azure Databricks Engineer (Python & Pyspark)
Location: Branchville, NJ or Hartford, CT (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $70 per hour
Primary Technical Skills
- Expertise in Azure Databricks, Pyspark, and Python programming
- Strong knowledge of SQL, MS SQL Server, and relational database systems
- Experience adhering to application development documentation best practices
- Proven ability to conduct design and code reviews
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts and processes
- Hands-on coding experience with primary technologies
Secondary Technical Skills (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (ADF) platform and framework
- Experience handling XML and JSON file formats
- Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter (PC)
- Exposure to Agile software development methodologies, preferably using JIRA
Soft Skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills required for onsite collaboration
- Insurance domain knowledge is a plus
- Ability to effectively work with client stakeholders and teams
