Azure Technical Architect

Tasks

• Own the end-to-end technical architecture and ensure the Virtual Lab solution is scalable, secure, supportable, and aligned with enterprise standards
• Define the end-to-end Virtual Lab solution architecture across Azure infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, security, deployment automation, testing, and observability
• Design the target Azure environment, including subscriptions, resource groups, virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, private endpoints, Bastion, Key Vault, monitoring, and outbound connectivity
• Define Infrastructure-as-Code standards using Terraform and/or Bicep, including reusable modules, naming standards, tagging, and configuration patterns
• Establish architecture principles for reusable store recipes, environment isolation, versioned bundles, repeatable deployment, and automated teardown
• Define integration patterns for source repositories, artifact stores, CI/CD pipelines, test frameworks, store configurations, and peripheral emulators
• Ensure security, access control, data isolation, auditability, cost controls, and environment-retention requirements are incorporated into the design
• Lead architecture reviews, technical decision-making, risk identification, and resolution of cross-platform dependencies
• Provide technical guidance to engineering, DevOps, cloud automation, testing, and application-development teams
• Maintain solution
