Job description

Tasks

Raise queen, worker and drone honey bees.
Duties include grafting queen cells, preparing starter and finisher colonies, creation of mating colonies, queen catching, preparation of nucleus colonies, installation of queens, installation of queen cells, moving nucleus colonies, feeding nutritional AMD Medicinal supplements, shaking bulk bees, locating and replacing queens, recognizing and removing sealed and unsealed brood from a colony.

Requirements

Visa required: H-2A
No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
Basic understanding of honey bee biology and lifecycles required.

$16.24 per hour
