Beekeeper

Tasks

• Work with bees in all stages of their life, from the egg through fully developed workers, drones, and queens.
• Assess bee colonies to determine if bees need food or medication.
• Must assist in honey extraction and harvesting.
• Move, clean, and inspect and repair equipment.
• Clean bee yards grounds, & other related Beekeeper activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone.
• Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 75lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach,

Schedule

• From Dec 15, 2026 to Oct 15, 2027
• Possible weekend/holiday work.

Pay

• $18.60 per hour
• The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
