The Team Based in the US, India and Costa Rica, Pursuit Management is a full-service group of pursuit managers, graphic designers, editors, project managers, multimedia specialists, and researchers who directly support US-based client service teams in differentiating Deloitte and winning more business. We deliver support throughout the proposal process, from scoping meetings and written proposal submission through orals preparation and debriefing. This includes developing strategic win themes and written, oral, and visual messaging used consistently in all prospect interactions and pursuit deliverables, as well as facilitating a smooth, rigorous pursuit process.
Work you’ll do:
Bring strategic thinking to shape pursuit deliverables and buyer experiences that differentiate Deloitte creating engagement through pursuit labs, interactive proposals, oral presentations, and microsites.Manage the pursuit process, including confirming RFP requirements, creating project schedules, orchestrating the development of deliverables, and keeping the pursuit team on track to meet deadlines throughout the pursuit life cycle from pre-RFP to proposal to orals presentation.Participate in, contribute to, and grow into leading pursuit strategy sessions to create and develop win themes.Write persuasively, including cover letters, executive summaries, and other critical components of deliverables.Draw from a variety of sources, including information from research profiles, your own interviews with client service team members, debriefs from client meetings, and an understanding of the business and Deloitte’s offerings.Use proposal development software to generate baseline proposal documents, tailoring as appropriate.Support strategic initiatives and special projects like building new tools, templates, content, and learning modules.Contribute to developing Deloitte’s pursuit team through collaboration with other pursuit team members, continuous effort to refine and improve pursuit strategies, and act as a project-by-project liaison between our team and the broader organization.Mentor, develop and coach pursuit strategy and creative design professionals
Required Qualifications:
Strong English communication skills. Including oral, writing, and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.Bachelor’s degree or technical high school equivalent for Costa RicaA minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in business-to-business communications, strategic marketing communications, or related field.Fluency with MS Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.Excellent relevant writing samples.Must be legally authorized to work in the Costa Rica without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a professional services environment.Pursuit, proposal development and project management experience.
