Job description
About the role
The Building Operator / Park Person III is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and upkeep of City facilities, parks, and outdoor amenities.
Tasks
- Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of HVAC and mechanical systems
- Ice maintenance activities and ensuring that proper water quality levels
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on building systems and equipment
- Ensure fire extinguishers, monitoring alarms, and security/lighting systems are in working order
- Assist in the execution of the Citys weed and pest management plan activities
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment readings, and service logs
- Responsible for the operation and maintenance of City-owned equipment, such as trucks, ice maintenance equipment, pool maintenance equipment, snow blowers, leaf blowers, air compressors, pressure washers
- Perform various janitorial
