Business Analyst

About the role

Confidential is hiring a Business Analyst to join one of its UK clients. This full-time role offers the chance to work on global projects, drive digital transformation, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive discovery efforts, manage the product backlog, and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to the Product Owner, guiding solution direction when needed.
• Facilitate workshops, design conferences, and stakeholder engagements across technical, financial, and executive levels.
• Produce BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and BPMN-aligned process models.
• Lead UAT, manage defect resolution, and secure client sign-off.
• Track KPIs, measure delivery outcomes, and mentor junior BAs.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of Business Analyst experience, including a minimum of 1 year in agile squad environments.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Business Analysis certification, such as IIBA or PMI.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Notion, or Miro.
• Experience in data, analytics, or enterprise systems, such as SAP, cloud data platforms, or BI dashboards.
• A collaborative, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Utilities or related-sector experience, familiarity with ETL tools and Databricks, and an interest in programming, data science, or emerging tech are nice to have.
