Job description
TekBricks is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Waxhaw, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will analyze business processes, gather detailed requirements, and deliver data-driven solutions that enhance business performance. Collaborate closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and management to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document comprehensive business requirements (BRD, FRD).
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings and facilitate workshops.
- Prepare functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
- Coordinate efforts with development and QA teams to ensure alignment.
- Perform gap analysis and impact analysis to support decision-making.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Create detailed reports and dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficient in requirement gathering and documentation techniques.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Excel.
- Basic SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with databases and APIs is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- Professional certification like CBAP or ECBA is a plus but not required.
